This Red Mite Powder is a great preventative measure to stop red mite building up in your chicken coops, regular use will stop the mites and therefore no need for nasty chemicals!

RED ExterMITE, is applied where red mite live and move and will be picked up on the exoskeleton by static electricity. The RED MITE once exposed it will be unable to maintain moisture so dies.

Please remember red mite live in the house not on the bird, if your house is infested use red mite powder on the poultry house but if the bird seems infested then please use louse powder.

The question you must ask is do I have an infestation? or Do I wish to prevent?

If you have an infestation currently then it must be dealt with quickly and this is not the correct product for a current infestation and you will need Mite Kill Spray. You will need a chemical treatment before moving on to the natural treatment.

If you have used this to help clear an infestation then we also recommend adding Pro Poultry Vits to your birds diets for at least 7-14 days, which should keep the poultry bright and lower a chance of secondary infection.
